Remedial massage is our most popular massage type. It provides relief from the aches, pains and injuries that we all experience from time to time. While also being very relaxing.

Remedial massage is a varied therapy. This means that it combines several techniques. Such as what we typically think of as a massage coupled with a targeted focus on areas of restricted mobility or pain.

In keeping with this being a varied massage, your massage can be firm or gentle, shallow or deep, or a combination. These aspects of the massage are determined based on your preferences. As well as what issues you are seeking to alleviate. If you are not sure about what you would prefer, you can discuss with your therapist on the day.

What can be treated?

The nature of remedial massage means that aside from helping you relax. It also helps stimulate blood supply to joints and muscles. While the relaxation benefit of the massage helps to relieve stress, in turn, provides a benefit to your nervous system.
